The new Mare West Leisure & Activity Park will open to the public on Sunday November 3rd!
Explore the brand-new Skate park, pump track, climbing wall, outdoor event space and bike track, all included in a 7-acre park.
On Sunday, November 3rd from 11.00 to 14.00, visitors of the new Leisure & Activity park of Mare West can enjoy an impressive BMX show, Skateboard & Pump Track stunts but also try out the new Pump Track themselves, with the guidance of ΜΒΙΚΕ.
The new facilities complement and enrich theservices offered by Mare West and will be open to the public as a unique free entertainment & meeting space for local residents and visitors of all ages. The overall design of the park is inspired by the five circles of the Olympic games and includes:
– 700 sq. m. pump Track with curves, elevated track, artificial wave obstacles for small jumps, specially designed for mountain bike enthusiasts.
– 500 sq. m. skate park for those who love skateboard or inline skates
– 350 sq. m. climbing wall for kids over 6 years old
– Outdoor space of 300 sq. m. for hosting events, outdoor movies, shows etc
– A 500 sq. m. relaxation area with pergolas for shade, tables and picnic benches
– A 250 m. flat terrain bike path that encloses the 5 activity &; recreation circles of the park.
