This summer, nature sets the best background for a series of events at Mare West. With
fun options for every age, the Activities and Recreation Park becomes a meeting point for
entertainment right by the sea. Starting from July 7th and every Thursday, Friday and
Saturday until August 13th and also on Sunday July 10th, join in on events for everyone
at Mare West.
Sports Powered by Decathlon: kids explore different sports, every Thursday
from July 7 th to August 11 th at 20.00.
Kids of all ages discover the different options of sports through a fun schedule by
Decathlon at the Activity & Recreation Park.
* 7/7: Fitness – Aerobic.
* 14/7: Football tournament under the guidance of Decathlon experienced
instructors.
* 21/7: Climbing lesson on the park wall (for children from 6 years and above).
* 28/7: Scootering at the park** For this activity, children must have their own
skates while protective equipment is mandatory for participation**
* 4/8: Taekwondo basics.
* 11/8: Μίνι Beach tennis and ping pong tournament.
Medasset: Environmental Activation for kids with Niretta the Caretta turtle,
Friday July 8 th at 19.30.
The environment is our home and we are all responsible for it! Together with Medasset,
children are made aware through play of the importance of respecting the environment
and protecting the species that live in it. Among them the sea turtle caretta caretta. The
mascot Niretta the Caretta is with us for an experiential action and team play.
OPEN AIR CINEMA: every Saturday from July 9 th to August 13 th at 21:00.
Everyone’s favorite event, the Mare West Open Air Cinema is back for
another super fun summer season! The premiere will be on Saturday July 9 th and
then, every Saturday up to August 13 th , a new movie awaits young visitors at the Mare
West Activity and Recreation Park. Movies start at 21.00 with fresh screening and
beloved characters. It is advised that you come earlier in order to assure a seat

Astronomy Night “A trip to the stars” on Sunday July 10 th at 21.30.
An activity for adults and older children. Guided by the members of the ASTRONOMY
GROUP of the Municipal Library of Corinth, we will travel through the night sky, learn to
identify constellations and observe the surface of the Moon with the Group's telescopes.
In the end, we will play using the information we will collect from our celestial
wandering.
Creativity, Live Fairy tails, Science and Sports for kids Friday 15 th and 29 th of
July and August 5 th and 12 th at 19.30
The young friends of Mare West have fun with a varied program that will impress them.
On Friday 15 th of July they bring to life the fairy tale "the good and the bad pirates" by
Antonis Papatheodoulou, on the 29 th of July they are impressed with fun experiments, on
August 5 th they learn the art of origami and transform themselves with face painting and
on August 12 th they test their skills in a specially designed obstacle course.
Chess Tournament, official Rapid with referee, Friday July 22 nd at 19.30.
Watch the skill of the participants in this strategy tournament. The players of all ages of
the Corinthian chess club, Argonautis, will do their best and we will support them, quietly
respecting their effort.
The summer outing at Mare West is full of fun and experiences with a free program of
